Terms
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These terms govern paid access to CardPatrol’s Pokémon TCG alert service. Please read them before starting a subscription.
1. Operator and scope
CardPatrol is operated by Alessandro Di Bitonto, sole proprietorship, Erlenholzstrasse 3, 8586 Erlen, Switzerland. These terms apply to subscriptions purchased through cardpatrol.ch. Contact: support@cardpatrol.ch.
2. The service
CardPatrol monitors selected Swiss and relevant retailers for Pokémon TCG products and sends alerts to Premium channels in the CardPatrol Discord server. Alerts may include product status, price, language, image and a link to the retailer.
Alerts are informational. CardPatrol does not sell the products shown in alerts and cannot guarantee that a retailer’s price, description or availability remains unchanged, or that a product will still be available when an alert is opened.
3. Discord access
A Discord account is required. During onboarding, you authorize CardPatrol to identify your Discord account and add it to the CardPatrol server. Premium access is assigned to the Discord account connected during checkout. You are responsible for keeping that account secure.
A subscription is for one person and may not be shared, resold, scraped, republished or used to operate a competing alert service. CardPatrol may suspend access that is abusive, fraudulent or harmful to the service or community.
4. Subscription, price and renewal
- Monthly Premium: CHF 4.40, renewed every month until cancelled.
- Yearly Premium: CHF 39.00, renewed every year until cancelled.
The total recurring amount and billing interval are shown again in Stripe Checkout before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription begins when Stripe confirms payment. Stripe provides an electronic confirmation of the transaction.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time through the CardPatrol billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Premium access remains available until that date.
Amounts already paid are not refunded or prorated solely because the service was not used, except where required by law or expressly agreed by CardPatrol. Swiss law does not provide a general withdrawal right for ordinary online purchases. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support promptly.
6. Failed payments and access
If a recurring payment fails, Stripe may retry it. CardPatrol may keep access available during a short retry period, then remove Premium access if the subscription becomes unpaid, expires or is cancelled. You can update your payment method in the billing portal.
7. Availability and changes
CardPatrol uses reasonable care to operate the service continuously, but uninterrupted or error-free delivery is not guaranteed. Retailer websites, Discord, Stripe, hosting providers and internet services are outside CardPatrol’s control. Shop coverage and alert features may change as sources or technical conditions change.
Material price changes apply only to future billing periods. Where reasonably possible, affected subscribers will be informed before the new price takes effect and may cancel before renewal.
8. Intellectual property and independence
CardPatrol’s website, branding, software and original alert presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Product names, shop names and third-party marks belong to their respective owners. CardPatrol is independent and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company, Discord, Stripe or the monitored retailers.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CardPatrol is not liable for missed purchases, retailer errors, price changes, unavailable stock, third-party outages or indirect losses arising from the use of an alert. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Age and legal capacity
You must be legally capable of entering into the subscription. If you are under 18, you may subscribe only with the consent of your legal representative.
11. Governing law
Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules. The competent courts are determined by applicable law.
